IT'S FINALLY WEDDING TIME...
We all arrived at a beautiful home on Captiva Island on
the gulf side of Florida, that
Nick and Jenny rented for the two families
to spend a week together.
Sunday morning Quinten and his family went to
church with me and Tom on the 'mainland'
in Fort Myers.
This house is enormous and has been a great
place for everyone to have fun.
The kitchen has plenty of space for everyone.
Nicholas and Josh are helping with breakfast.
Highlight of the trip so far for Tom has been to go
fishing with Steve, Jenny's father. Here we have two men,
two poles and a dog. Steve also brought his boat
so they have spent time fishing off the boat as well.
They took Tyson and Sam out fishing and
Tyson hit the mother-load:
Yes, Tyson caught that fish all on his
own. He needed a little help getting it
in, but boy he was proud.
Then he caught a flounder...
Krista and Avery out for a swim in the
gulf. You can't see it in the picture, but the water
was a gorgeous blue/green.
Just relaxing at the beach...
What would happen is we didn't have iPads?
Five of the six granddaughters playing before
breakfast.
Grandma and Grandpa with Avery
A family picture with the two families.
Jenny's family is in the back row:
(l-r) Paul, Melissa (Jenny's sister), mom, Jane,
and her dad, Steve.
I will keep posting as I can. We didn't have the internet for the first 2 1/2 days and we are hoping it has finally been fixed.
