This year, Tom was able to spend his 58th birthday at home with his parents and two of his brothers. It's been great to be able to visit family. After a vigorous workout at the local gym, lunch at Jeffrey's (his brother's bistro) and then Chinese takeout it was time for cake.
Tom's dad put the candles on top of the
cake saver. It was pretty funny. His mom
baked him his favorite cake, German Chocolate.
It was excellent.
After several games of cards and sharing their childhood
memories it was time for a photo op:
