Just a quick update on the house. They put the insulation into the walls today, sheet rock arrives Friday and we are told that the sheet rock will be hung my next Wednesday. WOW! We are finally seeing progress...
Tom is standing in the kitchen. The back wall will be cabinets and ovens.
An island in the middle. Hard to really see, but will take shape over the next few weeks.
The doorway over Tom's right shoulder goes into the pantry.
Tom is standing in the Master Bedroom:
I am in the Sunroom. The doorway on my right will have
french doors going into the great room.
This view is from the kitchen into the Great room.
The cardboard is coving the fireplace. That whole area above
the fireplace will have stone like what is on the outside of
the house.
Tom is standing in part of the FROG (Finished Room Over Garage).
There is a smaller full bathroom also in the frog.
This is Tom's Man Cave. Nice high 12 foot ceiling.
The double door on the left is the golf cart door.
The door on the right side of the picture goes into the
main garage.
The FROG is over the main garage. This room is over
Tom's Man Cave. It will be used for storage. I have really
missed having some storage room.
They are finally getting the siding on the house. The grey
is the "hardy-plank"siding that will be painted, that's not
the final color.
Will post more pictures next week.
