HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM!!!

Today is Sam's 9th birthday and we asked him how he
would like to celebrate his day.
This is what he wanted to do:

Golf at the Plantation:
This is hole is # 6, par 3. You have to drive 100 yds
over a large swamp that has very tall reeds.
This was Sam's drive, right into the putting circle.

Grandpa giving Tyson some pointers. The pictures is
misty because it was so humid that the lens fogged up.

Tyson showing us another awesome chip.

After golf, shower and lunch we headed for the
bowling alley. Sam wanted to bowl and it turned out
that today was our regular bowling league day.
So the boys got to bowl with the rest of the group.
I felt bad that I didn't get pictures, but the whole group
sang happy birthday to Sam. He bowed after they sang.

Sam chose Tommy's Pizza for dinner.
It's one of our famous joints in Hertford.
And really good food.

But we couldn't wait for birthday cake.
Sam requested triple chocolate cake. Of course,
Grandma had no trouble with that request.
I made the cake in the shape of a large cup cake.
You can't see the cake very well, but it was
extremely gooey and chocolatey.

Tomorrow is our last day of adventures. It's making me sad.
